Baked Cheesecake Recipe

Baked Cheesecake Recipe
Blue Cheese Walnut Cheesecake
2 (8 ounces each) packages softened cream cheese

8 ounces crumbled blue cheese

2 and 1/4 cups sour cream, divided

3 eggs, lightly beaten

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted

Assorted crackers

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. With an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the cream cheese and blue cheese until smooth. Blend in 1 cup of sour cream.

Add the eggs and beat on low speed just until blended. Stir in the pepper and pour into a greased 9" spring form pan and place pan on a baking sheet.

Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until center is almost set. Place on a wire rack for 5 minutes then spread the remaining sour cream over the top and bake for 5 more minutes.

Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes then loosen the cake from the edges of the pan without removing the rim and allow to cool to room temperature. Refrigerate at least 3 hours.

Before serving, remove rim of the pan and sprinkle with walnuts. Serve with crackers.
