"Boursin Cheese"

"Boursin Cheese" is a savory and versatile cream cheese recipe that can be used in many different ways. It adds flavor and a bit of zing to many dishes which are limited only by your imagination.

2 (8 ounce) packages of cream cheese

1 cup margarine or butter, softened (if using butter, add 1/3 cup of milk)

2 crushed garlic buds (or 1/4 teaspoon dry garlic powder)

1/4 teaspoon thyme

1/4 teaspoon basil

1/4 teaspoon dill weed

1/4 teaspoon marjoram

dash of salt and pepper

Combine all of the above ingredients and mix well. From into desired shapes or leave in mixed form as is. This "special cheese" freezes well. Can serve as as a topping for crackers or can be thinned with milk and used as either a dip or even a salad dressing. Excellent added to scrambled eggs.
