I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the diabetic cheesecake recipes included here. There is no reason to feel deprived when there are wonderful recipes like this available. Years ago, diabetics were warned that they could not enjoy all the same great foods as everyone else. In recent years, that has all changed. We have learned that there is really no food that has to be excluded from a diabetics diet...this includes cheesecake! The main thing to remember is "everything in moderation". Of course you can enjoy that piece of cheesecake. You just have to monitor your blood sugar and try to keep it at an acceptable level. A little extra exercise might not hurt either! One of the key elements to a diabetic diet is lowering fat consumption. Sugar and carbohydrates no longer have to be completely avoided. If great desserts are something you have always loved, you can still have your cake and eat it too with these diabetic cheesecake recipes.
