Eggnog Cheesecake Recipe
Eggnog Cheesecake Recipe Crust: 1 cup graham cracker crumbs 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/4 cup melted butter Combine the crumbs, sugar, butter and nutmeg and press into the bottom of a 9 inch spring form pan. Set aside. Filling: 1/4 cup cold water 1 envelope unflavored gelatin 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 cup eggnog 1 cup whipping cream, whipped Heat the gelatin and water over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is dissolved. With and elctric mixer on medium speed, combine the cream cheee and sugar until well blended. Gradually add the eggnog and dissolved gelatin until well blended. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in the whipped cream and pour into the prepared crust. Refrigerate until firm. Garnish with additional whipped cream and ground nutmeg if desired. Serves 12.
