Product ReviewsI will attempt to give you not only the good information about products but also any problems that have been found through either my use of the product or others that have reviewed them. In particular, I am going to do reviews of kitchen appliances, especially those that would be of use to the serious baker. Just imagine the wonderful baked goods, such as cheesecakes, that you will be able to produce by using some high quality appliances. This might seem a little bit odd for a product review but I am going to tell you about going to visit Washington DC to see the cherry blossoms and a visit to the Cheesecake Factory in Washington for (what else?) Cheesecake!
I recently purchased a cheese ball mix from Wind&Willow. I got the White Chocolate Amaretto Flavor and decided to make it and take it in to work today to see what everyone thought. The cheese ball got many great reviews and everyone thought that it was from one of my recipes. They couldn't believe it was from a mix because it tasted so good. It was smooth and creamy with just enough subtle flavor to make you keep going back for more. It also had plenty of almond slivers to cover it nicely. I served it with chocolate graham crackers but we seemed to think it would be just as good with cinnamon or regular graham crackers. Several people asked me where I bought it and are planning on purchasing some themselves. The only down side that I could see to the product was that it only produces a small cheese ball for the price. If you are planning on taking it to a party or potluck dinner, I would consider doubling the recipe because it will go quickly.. For one of the first product reviews I've done, I definitely had a hit with this one.
