Ready to sell Cheesecake

I'm making a cheese cake for a bake sale and I want to be able to sell the piece individually, but the previous cheesecakes I have made haven't been very sturdy like I see in stores or restaurants. What is the trick to getting your cheesecake to be firm and ready to serve?
