Supreme Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Supreme Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Crust:

1 and 1/2 cup chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs

4 tablespoons melted butter or margarine

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine the crumbs and margarine and press firmly onto the bottom of a 9 inch spring form pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Allow to cool.

Filling:

3 (8 ounce) packages of cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3 eggs at room temperature

1/4 cup all purpose flour

1/2 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Decrease oven to 325 degrees. With electric mixer on medium speed, blend the cream cheese, sugar and flour until well blended. Add the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition. Blend in the sour cream and vanilla and then stir in the chocolate chips.

Pour the mixture over the crust and bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes. Loosen the cake from the edge of the pan with a sharp knife but don't remove the rim. Cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for about 4 hours before serving. Remove the rim of pan before serving.

Serves 12.
